We are international. Wir are multicultural. We are brothers and sisters in music. We have our roots in Canada, Mauritius, Barbados and Switzerland, but our paths have crossed in the metropole Zurich.

The secret of The SOULMATES is a mix of Soul, R&B and Funk, which emphasizes especially the voices. No surprise though: The four vocalists Freddy Carnel, Manuela Gagliotta, Sonja Göschel and Cherry Ward define the SOULMATES sound as choir and als leadsingers. Thay are accompanied by the Swiss keyboarder Greg Galli, himself an outstanding leadsinger, as well as by the Haig Alexander (drums), Christian Bohren (bass), Jean-Marc Hunziker (guitar) and Florian Egli (sax). As longtime musicians we all bring both rich life and live experience into this project: The SOULMATES.

Zurich is a great city for world premieres. Thats why the very first concert of The SOULMATES will take place on Thuesday, May 22nd, 2007, at 20:30 hrs at the Moods im Schiffbau. Door opens 19:30 hrs.
